Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Modatus handles account information, uploaded files, payments, and support requests.
Information we collect
We collect account details, project settings, uploaded files, file classifications, build status, technical logs, and information you submit through the contact form. Stripe processes payment and billing details; Modatus receives transaction identifiers and payment status rather than full card numbers.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, process files, prepare and deliver builds, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, communicate about support requests, and comply with law. We do not use customer files to train shared models and do not sell personal information.
Uploaded files and AI processing
Private-knowledge files remain within the private processing and packaging workflow. For a separately scoped fine-tuning engagement, material is sent to a private GPU provider only when you explicitly classify it for training and approve the transfer. Original uploads, extracted text, and temporary training artifacts are deleted after the package is safely completed. Minimal records such as filenames, status, transaction records, and security logs may be retained for operations, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Service providers
Modatus uses service providers for hosting, authentication, private storage, payments, email delivery, and approved GPU processing. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their role and operate under their own security and privacy terms.
Website analytics
We use privacy-focused website analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, and broad funnel actions such as starting a project, opening checkout, or submitting the contact form. This analytics layer is configured without third-party advertising cookies and receives aggregated event information rather than names, email addresses, file contents, or payment-card details.
Security and retention
We use access controls, private storage, signed download links, and payment verification to protect data. No system is perfectly secure. Completed downloadable packages and required business records may be retained while your account or project remains active or as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information through the contact form. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally or operationally required.
